Hollow Coil Wire Winding Machine
Winding, leg bending, enamel stripping and cutting in a single cycle — engineered for the high-efficiency production of circuit breaker hollow coils.
- Suitable for instantaneous, undervoltage and shunt release coils and other circuit breaker hollow coils;
- Precisely controlled turn count (0.5–60 turns) for consistent resistance and ampere-turn characteristics;
- Leg bending at any angle from 0.1° to 359°, with multi-leg forming in one cycle;
- Servo rotary peeling or servo stamping for enamel removal — wire ends ready for soldering;
- Handles both round and flat wire, covering standard through high-current coil sizes.
Built for Circuit Breaker Coil Production
The instantaneous trip coils of moulded case circuit breakers, as well as undervoltage and shunt release coils, are mostly bobbinless air-core coils: enamelled wire is wound tightly into a ring, the two terminal legs must be bent to shape, and the enamel has to be stripped from the wire ends before soldering. These coils have few turns and relatively thick wire, but demand tight consistency in turns, resistance and leg forming accuracy — all of which directly determine whether the tripping characteristic of the breaker stays stable.
Manual or semi-automatic winding struggles to keep every coil identical: the process is spread across stations, output is low, and quality depends heavily on operator skill. This machine integrates the entire process chain into one unit and completes every step automatically after loading, making it the core equipment of a circuit breaker coil production line.
